William tells Kate:You’re my bride, but not till 2009

The title of this story reminds me of an ad slogan for a Canadian furniture store – Pay nothing until 2009! Theoretically, you get the benefit of your purchase without paying the price upfront. In this instance, I think it’s the reverse for Kate. For the next two years, she pays the price without any guaranteed benefit. Well, that is if she chooses to wait.

We assume that Kate will wait. That she will hold out for Prince William and live happily ever after. But what about her goals and dreams? What about her life? Sometimes buying now and paying later doesn’t work. Even if you do get a nice coffee table out of it.
